A356 (4008) Aluminum Microwire

Item#: 3F4EWH

Premium ultra-fine welding wire for all your microscopic applications. Perfect for precision Micro TIG and Laser Welding.

A356 aluminum welding wire, including the aerospace-grade variant known as 4008, is a specialized alloy critical for precision welding applications in the aerospace and automotive industries, particularly in A356.0 and 356.0 aluminum castings. Its carefully balanced chemical composition, featuring silicon, magnesium, and trace elements, provides outstanding weldability and exceptional strength.

This alloy's significance is further enhanced by its heat-treatable properties, allowing for post-weld heat treatment processes to achieve desired material properties, ensuring the structural integrity and safety of critical components in aluminum castings.
