High Quality Alloys was founded in 1982 by Robert Comstock and a small group of private investors. Having decades of experience in the welding industry, HQA was to provide welders and fabricators with welding materials that met or exceeded all welding standards in the market.

HQA introduced welded wire forms to its product lines. Wire forms matched with proprietary welding processes solidified HQA in the aerospace and automotive industries.
Wire Products
1999
High Quality Alloys, now servicing multiple industries outside of welding products, changed to a name more fitting to the spectrum of products and services offered; HQA Wire Products.
Renamed
2008
HQA Wire Products moved to it's new location in beautiful La Mirada, CA. This new facility allows HQA the space needed to manufacture weld wire and wire products and ship across the globe.
Expanding
2018
